Tell your TikTok-loving tweens that it’s their time to shine!

Hasbro kicked off its first NERF TikTok tournament, called the NERF TikTok Tourney, on the social media platform. Any user on TikTok is welcome to participate by submitting a video to showcase their NERF Hyper blasting skills in the most creative way they know how. Eight people will be selected to compete in teams for a chance to win Nerf Hyper prizes and a trip to VidCon.

To earn a spot on the tournament teams, TikTokers can try out by submitting a video of them going into “Hyper mode” (think energy, innovation, confidence, creativity, and adrenaline — no NERF blaster required) by Thursday, July 1. The video must include the original NERF Hyper TikTok music and the hashtag #NerfHyperTourney. NERF will choose eight accounts to comprise four teams with two people per team.

Comedian, model, and TikTok creator Billy Mann (@mannbilly) will host the NERF TikTok Tourney. Once selected, the four teams will compete in three challenges using NERF Hyper blasters to showcase the three NERF Hyper pillars: speed, accuracy, and living the NERF Hyper lifestyle. TikTok creators FaZe Rug (@rug), Crissa Ace (@crissa_ace), Drew Dirksen (@drewdirksen), and Corey Funk (@coreyfunk) will each captain one of the four teams. TikTok users at home can play along and vote for the winners. The team with the most TikTok likes or “votes” at the end of the tournament wins and the winning team will be announced on Sept. 24. The winning team will receive $15,000, a box full of NERF Hyper blasters and merch, and an all-expense-paid trip to VidCon 2021 in Anaheim from Oct. 21-24.
