We are counting down the days until the release of The Lego Movie on February 7 ever since we saw the first preview ages ago. My little Lego fans are beyond ecstatic for this!
As we wait for the release, we have slowly been collecting the newly released sets based on the movie. Of course, we are busy collecting all of the mini-figures! Sixteen all-new, special minifigures from the new Lego Movie, are now part of the Lego Minifigure Collection. Each minifigure comes in a sealed mystery bag with one or more accessories, a display plate, and a collector’s booklet. So far we have collected Panda Guy, Hard Hat Emmet, and Larry the Barista. My son is anxiously waiting to collect Where Are My Pants? Guy.
Along with the mini-figure collection, there are 13 collector sets. Kids can build the cast of The Lego Movie with play sets that feature the most memorable movie moments. Kids can help Emmet escape the Melting Room, plot to control the world in Lord Business’ Evil Lair, fire missiles from the supersonic flying Ice Cream Machine, or build their own movie sets to direct their very own blockbuster.
Until February 7th rolls around, we have plenty of Lego sets and mini-figures to hold us over!
