As families continue to stay safe at home during COVID-19 quarantine, it’s important for parents to encourage kids’ sense of wonder and imagination.
The podcast series The Imagine Neighborhood is helping to do just that with new episodes filled with 15-minute adventures and an added bonus of daily activities for families to enjoy at home. In the podcast, kids will meet characters like Scotty and Macho, who are about to embark on a spaceship adventure. Each short story incorporates age-appropriate lessons that help teach kids about coping with their emotions in a healthy way.
Parents can visit imagineneighborhood.org/blog to access free daily activities that supplement the podcast stories. The adventures from The Imagine Neighborhood bonus episode will also feature a jingle with lyrics. Listeners are encouraged to write their own lyrics and share them with the podcast.
The next block of episodes are available to download for free now through June 15 on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, and Stitcher, or anywhere podcasts are found.
