With the COVID-19 pandemic on top of everyone’s minds, kids can get a distraction with some good tunes.

The Quarantunes online concert is a collaboration between dozens of musicians to give families some hope in these difficult times. Put together by Alastair Moock, the YouTube playlist features Grammy Award-winners, family musicians, folk artists, and even some pretty talented kids.

Kids can dance along to songs from Moock, Sol y Canto, David Roth, Marcy Marxer, and more in the more than two-hour playlist. The “concert” is a benefit to raise money for the United Way COVID-19 Family Support Fund, a resource that provides assistance to families who have been hit hard by the pandemic.

Families ready to get their feet grooving for a good cause can find Quarantunes on YouTube.

As a kid, Nicole either wanted to be a professional toy player-wither or a writer. Somehow, as social media editor for The Toy Insider, The Toy Book, and The Pop Insider, she’s found a career as both. She's grateful to work somewhere that she can fully embrace both her love of teddy bears and her admiration for the Oxford comma. When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
