Families can access hours of free audio stories, podcasts, musical playlists, animated videos, and the 24/7 PJ Library Radio channel through the website. PJ Library’s kids’ literature and music experts curate the website’s new and seasonal content every month.
PJ Library Listen’s current available content includes animated video versions of picture books by authors Jennifer Rosner and Bara Bat-Shem, curated playlists featuring songs for almost any occasion, and music by kids’ music stars Joanie Leeds, Mister G, Josh and the Jamtones, Nefesh Mountain, Rick Recht, and a special upcoming playlist featuring Lisa Loeb.
PJ Library is an award-winning program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, which sends more than 220,000 books per month to families raising kids across North America. PJ Library is a fun, easy way to introduce kids to Jewish traditions, culture, and values through expertly curated, age-specific monthly selections, for kids ages 6 months to 8 years old.
Kids 9 and up graduate to the PJ Our Way program and get to choose their own book each month.
“PJ Library Listen offers families a wealth of entertainment options, and parents can trust that the content is safe and worthwhile,” says Meredith Lewis, director of content for PJ Library. Monthly new musical selections reflect modern styles and content consistent with Jewish values, according to Lewis.
