With WowWee‘s Pinkfong Baby Shark Singing Bath Time Bubble Maker, kids can have a sudsy singalong with Baby Shark himself.
Shaped as Baby Shark’s face with his fins sticking out, the bubble maker has three suction cups that will stick to most bathtubs and tiles to be the perfect bathtime companion. Based on the global song sensation, there are two play modes — one in which Baby Shark will sing the iconic song (in full!) and one without — that will make kids ages 2 and up actually look forward to bathtime.
There is no bubble solution included; instead, parents can use any liquid soap they already have and add water to create their own. I wasn’t sure how this was going to turn out, but I grabbed my trusty Cucumber Melon Bath & Body Works shower gel, eyeballed two tablespoons worth of soap into Baby Shark’s detachable mouth, and mixed in water. I attached the mouth back on, pressed the seashell button, and Baby Shark started singing loud and clear as bubbles immediately started pouring out of its mouth.
It was bubbles galore! In less than 30 seconds, the suds had some volume to them, providing the perfect consistency for a bubble bath. I was delightfully surprised at how many bubbles came out with my first round of solution, which was definitely more than enough for kids to play with. I also feel like kids could also wash themselves with the thick, soapy bubbles, providing a practical, double-duty solution to get kids excited about taking a bath.
Parents, keep in mind that bubbles are serious business! Make sure your kids are supervised while the machine is running, and make sure that the Bubble Maker is not close enough to the water that any part of it could get submerged.
