Lunchables is taking over FAO Schwartz — and introducing new, limited-edition Lunchabuilds! | Source: Lunchables/the Toy Insider

Got lunch plans?

The Lunchables brand is taking over FAO Schwarz! The snack favorite is turning the iconic NYC toy store into an immersive, creativity-fueling experience.

Throughout this month, kids visiting FAO Schwarz will experience Lunchables like never before. The store — and its renowned storefront windows in Rockefeller Plaza — will be filled with larger-than-life Lunchables creations, including a Cracker Stacker rocket ship, a Kabobble Trojan horse, and a Pepperoni Pizza UFO. Kids can explore and get inspired to play with their food (sometimes, that’s okay)!

To celebrate its FAO Schwarz takeover, the Lunchables brand is also introducing “Lunchabuilds,” limited-edition building kits that help fuel kids’ imaginations with experiences built for future explorers, architects, and biologists.

Each Lunchabuilds kit is modeled after different Lunchables creations and includes a Lunchables pack, a blueprint for building a structure with the Lunchable, and a real-life experience to inspire future creators. There are three options to choose from: The Lunchabuilds Explorer jets kids away on a galactic adventure to the Virginia Space Flight Academy, Camp Kennedy Space Center, or the Space Center Houston. The Lunchabuilds Architect takes young builders on a trip to an architectural wonder, such as the Empire State Building in New York, the Space Needle in Seattle, or the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. Lastly, the Lunchabuilds Biologist gives little scientists the chance to visit the San Diego Zoo, the Bronx Zoo, or the Omaha Zoo.

The Lunchabuilds kits are limited edition, so hurry over to the FAO Schwarz website on Friday, Sept. 3 to claim one! Valued at more than $2,000, the Lunchabuilds will be available to purchase for just $100 each.

And, if you’re in New York City, be sure to swing by the Lunchables takeover at FAO Schwarz’s storefront — maybe on a lunch break?
