LEGO City is becoming more interactive with new missions and features that put kids in control with story-led building challenges.

LEGO City Missions is launching with three new sets based on animal rescue, space exploration, and police detective mysteries. Each building set features its own interactive story, with each story containing eight distinctive missions. Kids can build core LEGO models, then rebuild and adapt those models to fit different scenarios, prompts, and missions they encounter throughout each story. Builders will be able to access the interactive stories and engage with on-screen characters in the LEGO Digital Building Instructions app on a smartphone or a tablet.

The core model of the LEGO City Wild Animal Rescue Missions set is a rescue pick-up truck. Kids can rebuild and accessorize their set as they solve missions throughout digital stories. In the app, kids will play the lead and solve challenges by interacting with onscreen characters and saving rescue animals around town from sticky situations.
