Elenco is offering kids who are at home because of COVID-19 a new, electrifying way to engage in STEM learning online.

In an effort to give kids a fun activity while they are home, Elenco now has made teacher and student guides for its Snap Circuits line — in which kids learn early STEM skills by constructing projects with real electrical circuits — free and available to use online.

Teacher guides can be used with the C-100, 300, 500, or 750 sets, while the kids’ guide works with the Snap Circuits Junior (SC-100) set. Each includes quiz questions for reinforced learning and the teacher’s guide also includes lesson plans. Parents can find the guides on Elenco’s website.

Kids that don’t have the Snap Circuits Junior can benefit from the guide as well. It teaches kids about electricity, motors, and more in 48 colorful pages divided into four easy-to-understand chapters.

As a kid, Nicole either wanted to be a professional toy player-wither or a writer. Somehow, as social media editor for The Toy Insider, The Toy Book, and The Pop Insider, she’s found a career as both. She's grateful to work somewhere that she can fully embrace both her love of teddy bears and her admiration for the Oxford comma. When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
