It’s just about slime time!

Nickelodeon is getting ready to roll out the orange carpet next month for its annual Kids’ Choice Awards (KCA) bash. Yesterday, the TV network announced that musical artist Chance the Rapper (and former KCA winner) will serve as the host for the live show.

“I’m honored to host this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards,” Chance the Rapper said in a statement. “I watched Nickelodeon growing up, and now I get to slime some of my favorite people on stage. This is going to be a party that you won’t want to miss!”

The rapper will hand out the blimp statues to kids’ favorite movies, TV series, music, sports stars, and celebrities during the Sunday, March 22 broadcast at 7:30 p.m.

The announcement also revealed the long list of programs and celebrities nominated this year. Superhero flick Avengers: Endgame secured the most nominations with 11; followed by singer Taylor Swift’s five nods; and Frozen 2, Henry Danger, and Lil Nas X each gained four nominations. The nominations saw a number of first-time honorees, including John Cena, DaBaby, Tiffany Haddish, Tom Holland, Brie Larson, Lizzo, and Megan Thee Stallion. In addition, Will Smith earned his 29th nod, which makes him the most-nominated celebrity in KCA history.
