Saddle up for a playful puppeteering adventure this summer with new episodes of PBS Kids‘ Donkey Hodie!
Donkey Hodie premiered on May 3 on PBS Kids, and now 13 new episodes of the show are available to stream on the PBS Kids Amazon Prime channel.
The series follows the adventures of Donkey Hodie — granddaughter of the original Donkey Hodie from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood — in the land of Someplace Else. Alongside her pals Purple Panda, Bob Dog, and Duck Duck, Donkey Hodie inspires preschoolers with fun-filled musical stories and silly quests.
The series features original music and reimagined versions of Fred Rogers songs, all reinforcing Donkey Hodie’s messages of positivity and imagination. Each episode features two 11-minute stories that promote skills such as emotional regulation, persistence, problem-solving, and self-control.
Donkey Hodie is available to watch for free on the PBS Kids channel. Some full episodes are available on the PBS Kids YouTube channel. Viewers can also purchase PBS Kids’ streaming services for $4.99 per month with an Amazon Prime or Prime Video subscription.
