Power to the potatoes! 🥔

The classic Mr. Potato Head brand is officially dropping the “Mr.” to become more inclusive for all with a more gender-neutral name: Potato Head. Hasbro is also bringing the Potato Head branding and logo into the modern era with a fresh look and a playful color palette.

Kids can also design the potato family of their choosing with the Create Your Potato Head Family set launching this fall. Each set includes two large adult potato bodies, a small baby potato body, and 42 accessories that kids can mix and match to create a family of spuds with two moms, two dads, or one of each. Most parts are compatible with other Potato Head toys.

This is not the first potato makeover, either. Last year, Mr. Potato Head got more interactive with a Mr. Potato Head Movin’ Lips toy that said 40 different phrases and even sang parodies to popular songs, including “Lips Are Movin’” by Meghan Trainor.
