What’s better than 101 Dalmatians? How about 100 Cinderellas!
Available now, 100 Cinderellas is a new anthology series available exclusively on Spotify, produced by Wonder Media Network. The podcast takes families on an auditory journey around the world to meet a variety of Cinderellas, including the Chinese Cinderella, Ye Xian; the Russian Cinderella, Vasilisa; and the Louisiana Bayou Cinderella, Blanche.
Designed to be listened to at bedtime, each story features soothing music, calming narration, and even breathing exercises. The relaxing nature of the podcast will help lull little listeners to sleep, while also giving them a multicultural education. Families can choose to listen to one chapter of a story at a time, broken into three segments that are each about 10 minutes long, or enjoy the full tale for about half an hour.
And while every Cinderella story is different, there are common themes throughout them all, including kindness, respect, and the importance of self-worth and agency. And — of course — every tale features a little bit of magic.
