It’s been 8 years since Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde saved Zootopia from Dawn Bellwether. Now, Walt Disney Animation Studios is bringing us back to Zootopia with the new miniseries, Zootopia+.
The trailer for Zootopia+ is here, giving fans a look at some scenes from the 6-episode series. Each episode follows some of the most unique characters from the movie in all-new stories!
The first episode, “Hopp on Board,” follows Judy Hopp’s parents as they attempt to get her little sister, Molly, off the train to Zootopia when she tries to follow Judy there. The next episode, “The Real Housewives of Little Rodentia,” is a play on reality television, starring Fru Fru as she plans her wedding. “Duke the Musical” shows the Duke of Weaseltown reevaluating his life through song after getting arrested by Judy Hopps.
Fru Fru’s dad, Mr. Big, tells his story as Zootopia’s newbie in “The Godfather of the Bride.” In “So You Think You Can Prance,” Zootopia Police Department dispatcher Clawhauser convinces Chief Bogo to audition for the titular contest and try to win the honor of dancing on stage at the Gazelle Concert. Finally, “Dinner Rush” follows server Sam as she tries to rush out of work to make it to the Gazelle concert when Flash and Priscilla the sloths show up for dinner.
All six episodes of Zootopia+ will be available to stream on Disney+ starting on Nov. 9. Predator and prey alike won’t want to miss it!
