Brussel sprouts get all the hate, but it’s time to make healthy food cool again.
Waffles + Mochi is a new preschool series from Netflix starring two puppet pals who go on culinary journeys around the world with friends like talking mops and flying shopping carts. Families can get to know the puppets even better in Walmart’s interactive cooking experience, called The Hidden World of Waffles + Mochi.
The online experience features recipes, games, and video clips from Waffles + Mochi, as well as 20 activities centered around 10 different ingredients from the series. Kids can complete activities to “master an ingredient,” which will earn them badges (just like in the show) to unlock a donation from Walmart to the PHA’s Pass the Love campaign to help feed families in need. The games and activities aim to show kids how fun and nutritious food can be while encouraging families to expand their palette and put a twist on things they regularly eat.
