What comes after UNO? DOS!
Mattel is set to release DOS, the companion game to the classic UNO card game. This is the first game in nearly 50 years from the brand.
DOS, which will be coined as “the world’s No. 2 card game,” features new rules and cards to offer players a different challenge alongside the nostalgia of the UNO brand. DOS reflects UNO’s simple premise of matching numbers and colors, but challenges players with multiple play options.
DOS starts with two cards in the center row and players should match numbers first, with an added bonus if they also match colors. Any time a player has only two cards in his or her hands, he or she must yell, “DOS!”
DOS will be available exclusively at Target stores and Target.com across the U.S. on March 4. DOS will hit shelves at additional national retailers in August.
