Ty Warner is adding a new plush pal to its family of Beanie Babies: Max the Dog.
Max is no ordinary Beanie Baby. Sure, he’s cute and cuddly with those signature big, glittery eyes, but Max represents a very important cause for kids: autism awareness.
Max was introduced on the YouTube Originals Color the Spectrum Livestream event on April 30, which was held in support of the non-profit organization Next for Autism. Max joined livestream hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Mark Rober, in addition to other celebrity guests, including Jack Black and Adam Sandler. The event garnered over 4 million views, with more than $3.2 million dollars raised.
With every purchase of Max the Dog, 100% of profits from original sales will go to Next for Autism. Max is 6 inches tall and made with soft Ty silk fabric. Attached to his ear is the official Ty heart hangtag with his birthday, April 2 (which also happens to be World Autism Awareness Day).
Max is priced at $6.99 and is available for preorder on shop.ty.com. Bring home a colorful plush pal that represents inclusivity, acceptance, and kindness!
