I replaced the batteries twice, but only the lights worked. The sounds did not work nor would the train run. Is there a way to get a new engine that works – replaced or purchased?

A nice train but could you have made the connection points between the cars any more complicated? You expect a child to put the train back on the track and re-connect the cars? Very hard, over complicated, horrible design. We spend more time re-connecting cars than enjoying the train set.
I love the series 2 edition I bought it .i will like to know if the plastic track break where will I be able to purchase the track for my set
