You can never have enough slime in your life and we’re always looking for the cool new ways to gloop it up.

Cra-Z-Art’s Nickelodeon Light-Up Slime offers something different—DIY slime that lights up like a flashlight.

This make-your-own slime kit is designed for ages 6 and up, and it doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to create the finished product from start to finish. To make the slime, all kids have to do is mix together clear glue, water, glitter, and slime activator solution.

The good news is, everything needed to create the end product is included right in the box, making life easier for parents who won’t have to make several trips to get ingredients from all over town. The kit includes a bottle of clear slime glue, a bottle of slime activator, four packets of glitter in different colors, two light-up balls, a measuring cup, a mixing bowl, mixing sticks, a spoon, and plastic containers for storage.

As kids stir everything together, they can watch the slime come to life as the mixture get thicker. After the solution absorbs, kids can knead the slime to make it softer and stretchier. As they they roll it, stretch it, and squish it, it will become less sticky and more cohesive.

Now, for the best part: Push the light into the center of the slime to make it glow. The light comes in the form of a little plastic ball so it’s a single source of light inside the slime that makes a really cool flashing effect through the glitter. When the light goes out, tap to reactivate its glow. You have to tap it kind of hard against a surface to light it back up, which can get a little messy since it’s encased in the slime but the good news is, the slime wipes off of things easily. It’s not that sticky of a slime, but it is extremely leaky and gloopy so be aware that things are going to get messy. But that’s what slime is all about.

It’s a fun activity for a rainy day, or for some family bonding time. There are two light-up balls so kids can make two glowing slimes at a time, and they can make non-glowing slimes too using the different colored glitter. The balls are reusable so kids can move the lights from one set of slime to another whenever they want.

What better way to life up your life than with some glittery gloopy, light-up slime?
