princess bride

Is there any movie more iconic than The Princess Bride? Inconceivable!

Soon, parents can delight their little ones with a tale full of wits and romance inspired by Westley, Buttercup, Inigo Montoya, and the rest of the crew from The Princess Bride. A new board book — published by Little, Brown & Company’s LB Kids imprint — brings together vibrant art and a charming love story. The Princess Bride: A Counting Story uses popular concepts from the movie of heroes, giants, and wizards to teach toddlers counting.

According to the publisher’s official summary, “There are 6 fingers on the Count’s right hand, 3 outlaws on a mission, 2 destined lovers, and 1 unforgettable story that brings them all together.”

The 20-page book, written by Lena Wolfe and illustrated by Bill Robinson, is currently available for preorder and set to be released on Oct. 6.
