What happens when cave people enter the modern world? Chaos ensues.
The first trailer for DreamWorks Animation’s The Croods: A New Age has arrived, following the world’s first prehistoric family as they escape the end of the world and search for a new place to call home.
In this sequel to 2013’s The Croods, the cave family finds an idyllic walled-in paradise with one problem: Another family already lives there. The Bettermans are a few steps above the Croods on the evolutionary ladder, with an elaborate tree house, new inventions, and fresh produce. The two families try to live together when a new threat takes them on an epic adventure outside the safety of the wall.
The animated film stars the voice talent Nicolas Cage as Grug Crood; Catherine Keener as Ugga Crood; Emma Stone as their daughter, Eep; Ryan Reynolds as Eep’s boyfriend, Guy; Clark Duke as Thunk; Cloris Leachman as Gran; Peter Dinklage as Phil Betterman; Leslie Mann as Hope Betterman; and Kelly Marie Tran as their daughter, Dawn.
The film will release in theaters (or possibly elsewhere) this Thanksgiving. Check out the trailer below!
