TACO CAT GOAT CHEESE PIZZA (DOLPHIN HAT GAMES)

Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza by Dolphin Hat Games is a hysterically funny card game for 3-8 players. The rules are incredibly simple, but it’s not necessarily easy to win. It’s as though someone took the act of patting your head and rubbing your belly at the same time and turned it into a game.

Your mind has to keep track of the word order and say them as each player flips down a card. If the card matches the spoken word, you slap the card. The last person to slap the card has to pick up the stack and add it to theirs. But there’s a twist (because of course there is!) — there are three specialty cards (gorilla, groundhog, and narwhal) that require you to do an action before slapping it. Whoever runs out of cards first is the winner.

There is also a holiday version called Santa Cookie Elf Candy Snowman. This game has made us cry from laughing so hard!

THROW THROW BURRITO (EXPLODING KITTENS)

While technically not a taco, Throw Throw Burrito by Exploding Kittens is still worth serving during your taco-themed game night. You’ll want to clear some space for this one, though. A game for 2-6 players, Throw Throw Burrito is part card game, part dodgeball. Players earn points by collecting cards in sets of three, but if you get hit by a (soft foam) burrito during a brawl, a duel, or a burrito war, you will lose a point.

TACO TAKEOVER (UNIVERSITY GAMES)

Put your taco stuffing skills to the test with Taco Takeover by University Games. This party game is for 2-4 players who race to see who can fill their taco with the correct ingredients the fastest. Watch out for the “la Cucaracha” and antacid cards, though, because you’ll need to dump out the ingredient cards from your taco shell and start over.
