It’s a big day for Star Wars fans!
This afternoon, as part of Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm and Disney revealed the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Star Wars movie. The trailer also officially revealed the movie’s title: The Rise of Skywalker.
Although we won’t see toys or any other product for this movie until Oct. 4 (aka Triple Force Friday), the companies also released a first look at the product packaging.
The empty box has a black, red, and yellow motif, with the character Kylo Ren pictured the top right corner. The inside of the box is all yellow, featuring the symbol for The First Order, a military dictatorship led by Kylo Ren in the Star Wars universe.
For now, we don’t know if all products will use this exact packaging, or if the character image and symbol will change to correspond with the product inside.
Packaging reveals for The Mandalorian and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (the other properties included in the Triple Force Friday reveals) will come at a later date.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to hit theaters this December.
