SpongeBob and pals are coming to your screen in 3D!
ViacomCBS and Nickelodeon have announced that they are bringing the long-awaited, CGI SpongeBob film to the Paramount+ streaming service in March. Along with that, the SpongeBob prequel series, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, will also premiere on the same day.
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run will see our favorite yellow friend team up with his bestie Patrick and the rest of the Bikini Bottom gang to find his missing snail Gary. Directed and written by Tim Hill, the film features Tom Kenny, Awkwafina, Matt Berry, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, and Reggie Watts.
The Kamp Koral series will feature a 10-year-old SpongeBob as he attends Lake Yuckymuck sleepaway camp. The show will feature familiar character voices from the original series, as well as new casting additions Carlos Alazraqui and Kate Higgins.
Both The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run and the first six Kamp Koral episodes are streaming on Paramount+’s launch date on March 4. Sponge on the Run will also be available on VOD platforms for a limited time at a rental price of $19.99 in the U.S.
