The adventures of Spidey are for everyone to enjoy, and Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends has introduced preschoolers to the web-slingin’ ways of Spider-Man. While kids can watch Spidey beat the classic bad guys like Doc Ock and the Green Goblin, his adventures will also teach viewers about the power of teamwork, friendship, and cooperation.
The series, which initially aired on Disney Channel and Disney Junior, has quickly become a fan-favorite with its adorable character design and fun animation. Families get to watch Spidey’s helpful crew work together, including Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales, who were first introduced in the Marvel movie Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse.
Starting on Sept. 22, the first seven episodes of the second season will be available to watch on Disney+, and new episodes will roll out on Disney Channel and Disney Junior. Kids can prepare to watch even more adventures with Peter, Gwen, and Miles, and their Spidey personas.
The series is also jumping out of the screen and casting webs in the real world. Families can look forward to kids’ books about Team Spidey’s adventures, and there will even be a “My First Comic” series from Marvel that will introduce young superhero lovers to their first easy-to-read graphic novel. And of course, a ton of toys and merch are on the way, including playsets, figures, apparel, plush, home decor, and more. A digital soundtrack will premiere just a few days before the second season’s release on Sept. 17. Kids can jam out to Spidey music before watching the whole crew take on more high-stakes missions later in September.
