*In The Arms of An Angel starts playing by Sarah McLachlan*
Hi guys. I’m Kelly from the Toy Insider and I’d like to talk to you today about Scruff-a-Luvs. They’re sad looking matted balls of fur that look like they should be on the clearance rack at Michael’s. Look at how abandoned and lonely they look:
What many people don’t know is that Scruff-A-Luvs have the potential to blossom into full-fledged furry friends, but only when kids rescue them.
With Scruff-a-Luvs, from Moose Toys, part of the fun is helping these sad little fur balls get back on their feet. Each Scruff-a-Luv will come in package as a ball of matted fur that needs some love and care. Kids will then be instructed to wash, brush the fur out, blow-dry the Scuff-a-Luv, and groom him or her. While brushing the fur out, kids will notice that Scruff-a-Luvs actually have arms and legs, but were so tightly balled up it wasn’t noticeable. Scruff-A-Luvs will feel so much more free once they’re all cleaned up and stretched out. 😃 Look at how healthy and happy they look:
Once kids completely rescue their Scruff-a-Luv, they can give it a name and write it on the included name tag and collar. They can then style their friend’s fur with the brush and hair clip—it’s just like adopting a real pet (without the mess). It also gives parents a chance to teach kids about pet rescue.
Kids will get a new friend, a Scruff-a-Luv will finally get a home, and parents don’t have to worry about this pet pooping on the carpet! Rescue a Scruff-a-Luv STAT.
