Scoob!
Scoob! Calling all budding mystery solvers! Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang are coming home in their first big-screen animated adventure, but families will be seeing it on somewhat smaller screens. Warner Bros. will release Scoob! through Premium Video On Demand (PVOD) and for “premium digital ownership” in the U.S. and Canada on May 15, the same day that the film was originally slated to hit theaters. Directed by Tony Cervone (Duck Dodgers, Scooby-Doo! And Kiss: Rock and Roll Mystery)  Scoob! is the first CGI-animated feature based on Scooby-Doo! and was intended to serve as a complete reboot of the franchise following the live-action films of the 2000s. If this all sounds familiar, you’re not wrong. Thanks to the theater closures mandated by the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Scoob! follows DreamWorks’ Trolls World Tour in skipping theaters and heading straight to digital. Scoob! will be available as a 48-hour rental priced at $19.99, the same MSRP carried by Trolls World Tour. A big difference in this release is that it will also be available to own for just $5 more. Of course, a fun new movie means fun new toys, and the Toy Insider has solved the mystery of where to find them: Walmart. The retailer is an exclusive partner for a variety of new toys and collectibles from companies including Funko and Basic Fun! Check out an assortment of the new plush, action figures, and vehicles below!
