Designed for kids ages 1 and up, tiny tots can sit on the rocker just as they would sit on a carousel horse. But even if kids can’t quite find their balance just yet, this rocker has a high, plush back so kids can sit snug and secure on their animal pal. It’s also very to easy for kids to climb onto their Rockin’ Rider using the footsteps located on the base.
Kids can calmly sway back and forth, gripping the wooden handles on their Rockin’ Rider, and travel off into imaginative play. Or maybe they can bop along to the traditional tunes blasting out of their rider. To really bring these riders to life, each has a unique name, such as Ernie the Elephant, Giggles the Unicorn, and Bashful the Sheep. While most of Tek Nek’s Rockin’ Rider series are limited to just horses and ponies, this line of baby rockers incorporates other animals, too.
To get the music playing, there are four colorful shape buttons on the back of the rocker’s head. Each one plays a different melody when pressed. These include the “I’m a Little Pony,” “Rockabye Baby,” and “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.” Kids can jam out to the music while gently rocking back and forth with their comfy friend. While the Rockin’ Rider Baby Rocker line was designed for children under 40 pounds and ages 12 to 36 months, older kids can go full swing with Rocking Riders Rocking Horse. This beautiful line of specialty rockers is limited to horses and is designed for children ages 3 to 7. Therefore, it is slightly bigger in size and does not include a back to the seat for safety. Instead of lullabies for infants and toddlers, this little guy plays the exclusive Tek Nek Tune “I’m a Little Pony” when the left ear is squeezed. When the right ear is squeezed, it renders six unique sounds and phrases.
