Breaking Games might have broken Kickstarter.

Of course, the company didn’t actually break the website, but it likely broke some sort of record. Breaking Games’ first Kickstarter campaign for the Rise of Tribes game reached its goal of $10,000 within the first day it went live—and within 50 minutes after it went live.

Rise of Tribes is a board game that depicts a pre-historic time period. It requires two to four players ages 10 and up, and each player is given control of his or her own tribe. Tribes are tasked with gaining more members, gathering resources, and taking over territories with each roll of the dice to win.

Players can earn points when they build villages, create developments, and accomplish achievements, and the first player to reach 15 points wins. The game is similar to other roleplaying strategy and board games, and although it’s recommended for a younger age group, there are beginner and advanced options.

For more advanced strategy options, players can add leader power cards to the game. Each tribal leader has two unique ability options for players to choose from, and the different abilities provide more advanced opportunities for moves during gameplay.

Kickstarter donations range from $10 to $1,250, and prizes include a standard game for a $39 donation and two signed deluxe copies of the game with a canvas print of any of the tribal leaders for a $400 donation. For $1,250 or more, backers and one guest receive a dinner at GenCon 2018 to play a game with Shari Spiro, Peter Vaughan, and Brad Brooks of Breaking Games. The prize also includes two signed deluxe versions of Rise of Tribes and a custom illustration.

The campaign reached its $105,000 stretch goal to add the Kia Kia Tribe to the game. Two new stretch goals, one for $120,000 and one for $140,000, are now in place. The first stretch goal includes a new Glacier tile, and the second stretch goal includes Arrowheads score markers.
