Museums are full of history and adventure — even more so when everything inside the museum comes alive!
Get to know mummy royalty, dinosaurs, an astronaut monkey, and more in Ridley Jones, a CG-animated series debuting this summer from the creator of Doc McStuffins and Vampirina.
Created and executive produced by Chris Nee, the series follows 6-year-old Ridley as she helps her mother and grandmother protect the museum they call home. The series is like Night At the Museum for the preschool set, introducing viewers to creatures and characters typically found in history museums.
Ridley lives inside a treehouse in the museum and when the lights go out, the exhibits take on a life of their own. It’s Ridley’s job to watch over the museum’s treasures and she uses her magic compass to keep everything and everyone who lives there safe. Throughout her adventures, Ridley figures out what it means to be a good protector and leader and why it’s important to respect others, no matter what our differences might be.
Ridley Jones premieres on Netflix on Tuesday, July 13, with six episodes. The first episode will debut early on the Netflix Jr. YouTube channel today. Watch the trailer below!
