Prismland is a series of educational plush characters designed to introduce children to 3-D shapes, geometry, and spatial awareness. Designed for kids ages 3 to 5, each plush shape has its own personality to help kids engage with the five different PrismPal shapes—Cubert the cube, Hexter the hexagon, Rhonda the rhombus, Spherrison the sphere, and Pyri the pyramid.
A full-color, character-specific booklet from the Hey! Prismland series, written and illustrated by Toronto-based artist Jess Chen will accompany each 6-inch plush. Each character’s properties and construction, as well as real-life examples of their shapes, are detailed in the booklets. Free, downloadable worksheets are available now on their Kickstarter page.
Donations start at $1 and can go up to $1,000 CAD, with rewards ranging from a space on their insider email list to your very own PrismPal or even an original, hand-drawn illustration by Chen. Cubert and Hexter will be available first, with another character unlocked for every $5,000 CAD raised by the Kickstarter.
