Celebrate good times (c’mon!) with Pokémon’s new 25th anniversary collection! To commemorate its quarter-of-a-century birthday, Pokémon is dropping special Celebrations collections all October long.
This limited-edition collection will feature beloved characters from the franchise, as well as gameplay mechanics spanning the history of the franchise and popular card artwork. There are nine different products kids can choose from, including unique gameplay cards, a deluxe pin collection, a Celebrations collector chest, and much more.
The collection also includes Celebrations booster packs that contain four specially designed cards, all featuring a 25th-anniversary logo and foil treatments. These cards picture characters from every region in the Pokémon universe, from Pikachu and Zamazenta to Professor Oak.
Additionally, the Celebrations collection features a special subset of 25 cards that are close remakes of iconic cards from the entire history of Pokémon TCG. Kids can search for Base Set Charizard, Umbreon, and Tapu Lele-GX. Pokémon is also releasing promo cards that combine recently found Pokémon with popular forms like Light Pokémon, Delta Species, Pokémon, and Pokémon Star.
The launches start on Oct. 8 with Pokémon TCG: Celebrations Collection Dragapult Prime, Lance’s Charizard V and Dark Sylveon V, the Deluxe Pin Collection, the Elite Trainer Box, Mini Tins, and the Special Collection — Pikachu V-UNION. On Oct. 22, Pokémon will release the Premium Figure Collection — Pikachu VMAX and Ultra-Premium Collection. The Celebrations Collector Chest doesn’t have a date yet, but will also launch in October.
The Pokémon TCG: Celebrations collection will be available at retailers worldwide and will likely draw major attention from Pokémon’s dedicated fans! Get ‘em while you can.
