VTech’sVtech.SpinLearnCarousel Spin and Learn Color Carousel is one of the most adorable things to happen to kids’ educational toys. Recommended for kids ages 9 months to 3 years, kids can play and learn with this spinning and musical toy.

The carousel part is my favorite. As kids (or adults in my case) push down the red and white striped top, the animals start spinning and a fun “Whee!” sound is played. It makes me giggle each time I push it down. With more than 65 melodies, sounds, and phrases, kids can move and groove to the upbeat tunes and fun flashing lights.

Aside from the carousel’s major play value, there are tons of developmental benefits such as cause and effect, language development, and sensory development. Using the carousel’s purple hippo, green alligator, blue elephant, and orange lion kids can learn about animals and counting. By pressing the number button, kids will be asked to count to a certain number by pressing down on the animals. When kids press the question button, they’ll be asked to push down on an animal based on its color and name. These two games are great for young learners to grasp basic identification skills.

Additional benefits include volume control, a durable design, and automatic shut off for when the toy is not in use, making this toy as kid-friendly as it is parent-friendly. Overall, this is a great gender-neutral toy that any kid will not only have fun with, but also learn a lot from.

This product and more from VTech will be on display at The Big Toy Book’s Sweet Suite 14 event in New York City on July 17. Part of Blogger Bash, a two-day conference connecting bloggers and brands nationwide, Sweet Suite will feature the hottest toys and games for the upcoming holiday season.
