As we head into November, it’s time to start thinking about the next holiday on the list: Thanksgiving!
Families can tune in for Thanksgiving-themed episodes from two PBS Kids shows: Arthur and Pinkalicious & Peterrific.
The “An Arthur Thanksgiving” episode of Arthur will show Arthur and his family get ready for Thanksgiving. Dad is whipping up his legendary turkey dinner while the Lakewood elementary kids prep for the annual Thanksgiving parade. But when things start to get off track, Arthur and his friends must find a way to save the holiday celebration.
Pinkalicious & Peterrific will feature “A Fairy Thanksgiving/Pinkfoot Playdate” special. In “A Fairy Thanksgiving,” Pinkalicious and Peter accidentally damage Fairyanna’s Thanksgiving table. They are determined to make things right and give the fairies the most pink-amazing Fairy Thanksgiving ever. In “Pinkfoot Playdate,” the giant furry monster, Pinkfoot, is back to spend the day with Pinkalicious and her friends while Pinkalicious struggles to find something that’s pink-a-perfect for her oversized pal. In the live-action segment, kids can use elements from nature to create a fairy house in their backyard.
The special episodes will premiere on Nov. 16 on PBS Kids, the PBS Kids 24/7 channel, and PBS Kids digital platforms.
