When a town of cats is in danger, an underdog rises!
Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, Align, and Aniventure have released a trailer for Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank, an upcoming animated movie.
This tale of an unlikely hero follows the titular Hank, a hard-on-his-luck hound who finds himself in a village full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain who wants to wipe their village off the map. With reluctant guidance from an old samurai who has fallen on hard times, the canine hero must assume the role of town samurai and team up with the feline villagers to save the day.
The family-friendly movie features a voice-acting cast that includes Michael Cera as Hank, Ricky Gervais as the villain, and Samuel L. Jackson as Hank’s mentor, along with Mel Brooks, George Takei, Aasif Mandvi, Gabriel Iglesias, Djimon Hounsou, Michelle Yeoh, Kylie Kuioka, and Cathy Shim.
The new, 2-minute trailer gives a first look at the samurai action, slapstick comedy, and fourth-wall-breaking fun that the movie has in store. Parents and kids can check out the trailer below, then join in Hank’s adventure when Paws of Fury arrives in theaters nationwide on July 15.
