Osmo released a new curriculum-inspired Math Wizard series that uses hands-on, adventure-driven, educational games to help kids learn math by experimenting how it is used in everyday life rather than memorizing formulas. Magical Workshop and Secrets of the Dragons launched today as the first two titles in the Math Wizard series.
Designed for kids ages 6-8, the self-paced games help kids build confidence in their math skills through stealth learning. Plus, it’s a great way for parents to supplement home-schooling and remote learning.
In Magical Workshop, kids can practice addition, subtraction, place value, and number comparison by brewing potions with dragon claws and sparkle dust, and counting balloons to help dragons fly. The set includes a collection of four games and accessories, such as a mixing mat, sticker sheets, a spell book, counting cubes, and counting rods.
In Secrets of the Dragons, kids can learn about measurement by exploring the Dragon Reserve and its biomes. As dragon scouts, they can discover new dragons, measure, and feed them based on their size. The set includes a dragon guidebook, two rulers, and food tokens.
