You know what they say, a train is only as strong as its weakest link, but we don’t see any weak links in sight when it comes to BRIO‘s new train sets.
The BRIO line of trains is expanding with the My First Railway Light Up Rainbow Set, recommended for toddlers ages 18 months and up. This interactive toy train set will introduce toddlers to basic sequencing and cause and effect patterns in a simple way. The aim of the game is for toddlers to light up the rainbow with all of its colors by following the blinking lights on the tracks with the wooden train. Each time kids correctly follow the lights through the cloud and complete the challenge, the rainbow will light up in one of four colors while playing a melody. Once kids light up all the colors, a song and light show will play. The 10-piece set will be available for $74.99 this spring.
The Disney Princess Castle Set inspires creative role-playing and storytelling for kids ages 3 and up. The 18-piece set includes a castle, wooden train tracks, a princess train with wagons, three Disney princesses, and accessories. The princesses include Aurora, Belle, and Cinderella. The princess-themed set is available at specialty stores now for $129.99 and will launch on Amazon this summer.
Both sets are compatible with all BRIO World products so kids can use the tracks to expand their play into even larger train worlds.
