If your kids like racing or mobile games, it’s the perfect time to check out Need for Speed No Limits in all its spooky glory.
The mobile game launched a Halloween update with a seasonal storyline, spooky car wraps, and a new character named Trashin’ Pumpkin, available now. The update is part of a limited-time partnership between Firemonkeys Studio (an Australian-based studio of Electronic Arts) and Cloudco Entertainment’s Madballs that mixes the pop-art look of the ’80s toys Madballs with the arcade racing style of the Need for Speed franchise.
In the new storyline, kids can play a special event in which an in-game character purchases a mysterious toy that ends up possessing him, giving him a Madballs-inspired alter ego who creates chaos within the game. The player must use their driving skills to outmaneuver the Madballs character and save the city. The update will also feature a series of Madballs car wraps that players can unlock through in-game events to give their cars a Halloween-inspired look.
The new Madballs character, Trashin’ Pumpkin, will also get the action figure treatment with a limited-edition toy created by Megalopolis Toys as part of its Megapolis: Premium DNA Madballs Collection. Players can preorder it exclusively in Need for Speed No Limits.
