My Beastly ABCs Storybook app by Duncan Studio has become one of the top iPad apps for kids. It tells the story of a young boy as he encounters mythical creatures from around the world. Children can interact with the characters in an imaginative way, and the book provides them with artwork and narrations by actor Jim Dale. There is also an index in which children can find more information about each creature in the story. While telling the creative story and interacting with creatures, children are encouraged to strengthen their reading skills with the read-aloud feature.
Now, Duncan Studio is giving a Halloween treat. The company will be offering the opportunity to download the popular app for free, from now until October 31. The app will be available for download on iTunes, for the iPhone and iPad.
