Kids’ smartest new friend will arrive just in time for the holidays.

Miko 3 is a robot pal that can detect moods, initiate conversations, and adapt to different environments. It’s driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and is packed with personality. Kids can learn from it — and take plenty of dance party breaks with it.

The AI that Miko 3 uses helps it adapt to its owner by identifying and remembering their face, and it also provides it the ability to adjust to its surroundings with sensor features and movement. Kids can use the touchscreen to connect with learning experiences or video chat with family.

A growing app library (of both paid and free apps) helps kids learn languages, science, nature, literature, and coding. Parents can purchase the Mikomax subscription to get unlimited access to all of the premium apps, which are loaded with games, challenges, and a number of learning experiences. In total, it adds up to 50,000 hours of audio-video libraries with more than 1,000 games, videos, stories, puzzles, songs, coding experiences, and more.

Parents can know kids are safe with Miko 3’s enhanced encryption that protects consumer data. They can also check in on kids’ progress and adjust security settings.

Miko 3 is available for a special price of $199 (it retails for $299) for early buyers on miko.ai. It will head out to families in November with guaranteed arrival by the holidays.
