Your favorite heroes and villains are now going through major mood swings.

Mighty Muggs, from Hasbro, puts a new spin on collectibles. Each of these 4-inch figures has a new push-and-turn head feature that instantly changes their facial expressions, including happiness, anger, excitement, surprise, and moreā€”AKA all the emotions I feel on my commute on the Long Island Rail Road every morning.

If the name sounds familiar to you, they were super popular a few years ago, and were basically as relevant as Funko’s Pop! Vinyls before that became a thing. The refreshed collectibles have a new look, but feature the same exaggerated features that fans will fondly remember and will make new fans get excited to go on a hunt to collect them all.

More than 50 (!) characters will launch this year, including all of your faves from Star Wars, Marvel, and more such as Captan America, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Rey, Kylo Ren, Luke, Leia, and Yoda.

Each character spins through three different emotions, and are packed with serious attitude.

If you’re wondering about characters that wear masks, such as Darth Vader and Black Panther, don’t worry because they pack just as much cheeky emotions with their expressive eyes. If you don’t think someone like Darth Vader can give you a death glare in three different ways, you’re wrong.

It’s also addicting to just pressing down on their heads and watching the different emotions change. It’s ~hypnotic~, and just plain ‘ol fun to watch your little figures twirl through assorted faces.

This is a funny prank, which you can use without giving me credit: Put one of these on a friend or coworker’s desk, and don’t tell him or her that these facial expressions are supposed to change. Every once in a while, when he or she gets up from, change the face without getting caught, which may or may not slowly drive the person mad and very, very confused. #weknowplay, but also #weknowpranks.

While your friends are doing triple takes, I’m already counting down for the next waves of character assortments.
