Melissa & Doug is entering green slime territory.
Known for their screen-free toys, Melissa & Doug is giving kids a way to interact with their favorite PAW Patrol and Blue’s Clues characters, in a hands-on and off-screen way. Kids can search for clues around Blue’s wooden house or race with Chase on a wooden dashboard, complete with lights and sounds.
The initial launch includes 50 toys, including the PAW Patrol Rescue Mission Wooden Dashboard: a play steering wheel mounted on a wooden dashboard with lights, sound effects, and moving parts, such as a scrolling GPS. Kids can press the paw print “mission start” button to hear Ryder give mission instructions and kids can choose to hear him in English, French, or Spanish. The collection also includes a PAW Patrol Wooden ABC Block Truck that includes 28 wooden early-learning blocks; a Blue’s Clues & You! Wooden Take-Along House with a built-in handle, three gears to spin, bungee-hinged flaps, and a double-sided flip puzzle; and a Blue’s Clues & You! Wooden Mailbox Play Set that includes wooden stamps with self-stick tabs that kids can use to “mail” a wooden postcard. Kids can also look for play tents, craft kits, activity rugs, hand puppets, and more.
These new products align with Melissa & Doug’s mission to entertain, educate, and engage kids in a way that helps them develop essential life skills. The PAW Patrol and Blue’s Clues collections are available now at melissaanddoug.com. They will also be available at independent and major retailers, with even more products on the way soon.
