It’s time for a new chapter — and beyond!

With the highly anticipated film release of Toy Story 4 coming up, Mattel has kids covered in terms of bringing the fan-favorite toys to life. With new products, dolls, and action accessories, kids can explore adventures with new and old friends alike, including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of the Toy Story gang.

These TS4 toys from Mattel are always on the job and ready for the mission of playtime. Just ask Buzz. The collection includes action-packed robots, play sets, figurine assortments, character figures and dolls, light-up characters with sound effects, and even wearable, life-size toys.

With Disney∙Pixar’s Toy Story Ultimate Walking Buzz Lightyear, kids ages 3 and up can see the space ranger come to life and complete any mission that comes his way. Switch him on and press one of the buttons on his suit to activate different catchphrases and sound effects, trigger his laser pointer, and pop out his jet pack wings; he’ll even take short and rigid steps around your chosen surface. Buzz says his iconic lines, such as “Buzz Lightyear to the rescue” or “greetings, space ranger.”

The Disney∙Pixar Toy Story Basic Figures are the perfect addition to a collector’s shelf or to fuel imaginative play. Kids can pose the movie favorites — such as Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Slinky, and Rex — based on their movie stylings as they act out new and original stories. Kids can also collect blind-bag packages of the Disney∙Pixar Toy Story Minis Figure Assortment, with the beloved characters just waiting to be discovered.

Other TS4 toys allow kids to bring these animated characters to life with life-size replica props. With the Disney∙Pixar Toy Story Bo Peep Action Staff, kids can use the 3-foot shepherd’s crook to corral sheep (or even friends) just like Bo Peep does in the film. The staff features sounds, too, including a sheep’s bleat and a whooshing sound when the crook is in motion. Kids can stand tall next to the staff and press the button down at the bottom on the ground to call their flock. Remind them to leave plenty of space around them so they can properly command those sheep. Kids should hold the handle on the middle, with the staff horizontal, and give it a push. Then they can watch the staff spin in circles as it makes a “whir” sound. Parents will want to make sure kids operate the staff in an open area to avoid bumping into another person or object and causing harm with the long, spinning motion.

Gear up for the new movie with these beloved toys that take the fun off the screen and into kids’ toy boxes. Just make sure to scrawl your kids scrawl their own name on the bottom.
