Spider-Man always had the best theme song of all superheroes and now he’s getting an emo-pop upgrade with the help of Fall Out Boy singer Patrick Stump.
The musician is lending his voice to the opening song for Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends, an animated series launching on Disney Junior this summer. Preschoolers can join Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy as they form Team Spidey and protect their community. The series will teach kids about the importance of teamwork and helping others, with themes of friendship, cooperation, and problem-solving.
Stump is the songwriter and composer for the series, which is produced by Disney Junior and Marvel Entertainment in association with Atomic Productions. The theme song, written and produced by Stump, is available now on the Disney Junior Hits Playlist. The digital soundtrack, Disney Junior Music: Spidey and His Amazing Friends, will launch in full on Friday, Sept. 17.
