Baby dolls never go out of style, especially when they’re from Madame Alexander Doll Co.

The classic doll company has done it again with the Madame Alexander My Little Girl Toddler Doll. Designed for toddlers ages 2 and up, the doll is the exact age range of the kids who will be playing with it. That means toddlers can find comfort in this friend their own age during these sometimes lonely times of social distancing.

The 14-inch doll is the perfect size for cuddling, featuring a soft, snuggly body; a weighted bottom; and a molded head, legs, and arms that make it look more realistic. The molded parts have a little give to them and aren’t rock solid so they won’t get in the way of snuggle-time, while still giving kids something firm to hold on to when carrying the doll around. I especially love the tiny wrinkles on the wrists and ankles and how the toes look squished together, like a real-life baby. It’s little details like these that set Madame Alexander Doll Co. apart from other doll companies out there.

The doll comes in three different skin tones, all with pigtails that kids can style. The rooted hair is really soft and each set includes both a brush and a comb that kids can use on the doll or themselves. Kids can also create different hairstyles using the included hair ties and headband.

The toddler doll comes dressed in a heart-print, polka dot pinafore over a long-sleeve tee, and pink leggings — all removable so kids can practice dressing the doll and parents can wash the clothing if it gets dirty. Kids can also dress the doll in other clothing they may have at home, making for even more role-play fun.

This little girl also has eyelids that open and close based on whether kids hold her upright or lay her down — another thoughtful detail that makes it easy to transition into nap time or bedtime, real or make-believe.

Toddlers will find a new best friend with one — or all — of these My Little Girl dolls!
