Become an L.O.L. Surprise! Movie Director with this New App

Outright Games is bringing all of the fun of L.O.L. Surprise! dolls to a smartphone or tablet near you! 

With L.O.L. Surprise! Movie Maker, kids can create their very own L.O.L. Surprise! movies, stories, and videos. Perfect for kids ages 4 and up, this free-to-download app features tons of collectible elements, including virtual L.O.L. Surprise dolls, props, backgrounds, and music tracks. Kids start by unwrapping three capsules to uncover the first few dolls and more in their new on-screen collection. 

Once kids digitally unwrap everything, the fun continues with some movie-making action. In just a few quick clicks, kids can set the scene and then record their videos, moving the dolls and props around by dragging them along the screen, and recording their voices at the same time. Everything saves automatically, and kids can name their movies and also type in their name under the director line, which shows up on the cute clapper board before their movie plays. 

The app is super easy to use, and there are almost no written instructions, so kids can figure out what to do by using the icons and pictures — it’s super intuitive. Kids can easily download and share their videos, or delete them to make room for new creations. 

While the app is free to play and download, adults can visit the store to purchase coins that can be used to unlock more L.O.L. Surprise! Capsules. Each capsule costs about $1 and contains four surprises. Kids can tap the ball to watch it open and discover their new doll. And if they get a repeat or duplicate, they get a coin credit to use toward something else instead. 

There are currently 20 dolls and pets total to collect in series one, along with 25 props, 17 backgrounds, and four music tracks. Kids can set their videos in a salon, beach, retro arcade, and more. They can finish off their stories with some sick beats, and use cute props like cookies, s’mores, coffee cups, and more to really make it all really special. 

The app is available to play offline without an internet connection, and it gives kids all of the fun of the L.O.L. Surprise! brand on the go. It is a great way for kids to get creative while also experiencing a unique on-screen unboxing. Overall, L.O.L. Surprise Movie Maker provides kids with unlimited story-telling experiences using characters that have ruled their toy boxes for the last few years.
