playdohFrom my days as a kid myself, I know two pretty solid facts about little ones: They love dessert and they love Play-Doh. Thanks to Hasbro, kids can get the best of both of worlds with its Play-Doh Sweet Shoppe line. This line serves up Play-Doh cake, cupcakes, and ice cream in a big way. Kids can design and sculpt tons of fun and unique Play-Doh desserts and cakes—the decorative possibilities are only limited by a kid’s imagination.

The newest addition to this line is the Play-Doh Double Desserts Playset—because why have one desert when you can have two! With this set, kids ages 3 and up can create colorful Play-Doh cakes and pies in the “oven” to feel like a real baker. Kids press down to create cookies until they hear the “ding!” to signify that their food is ready. The treats are then ready for a scoop (or more—because one scoop of ice cream is never enough) of Play-Doh ice cream. This set includes two 2-ounce cans of Play-Doh compound and two 2-ounce cans of Play-Doh Plus compound. The Play-Doh Plus compound is perfect for realistic-looking Play-Doh frosting.

The play set is adorable and can be easily snaps together for mom and dad. It’s covered in fun shapes to form all sorts of cute and fun treats, along with some healthier options such as fruit or a carrot. Aspiring little pastry chefs can show off their creativity using a variety of included tools. The dinging of the oven is a great added touch that makes this toy perfect for roleplay. And if adults are like me and  haven’t grown out of desserts or Play-Doh, this set can be fun for the whole family!
