We only have a few weeks left before my kids head back to school. While I’m looking forward to the routine that school brings, there’s still time to squeeze in summer fun! We are on a mission to have has much fun as we can before our summer days come to an end.
Go to a baseball game. My boys are obsessed with baseball, so what better way to have some summer fun then to go watch their favorite players play?
Visit an amusement park! I don’t know of a better way to have a lot fun in a short amount time then visiting an amusement park. There is something for everyone and you can have fun from sun up to sun down. Ride some coasters, eat some yummy food, and make some family memories.
Visit a state park. We literally have a ton of state parks in our own backyard and we rarely ever visit them. If you are looking for something fun to do that doesn’t cost much or take a lot of time, visit your local state park.
Have a family game night. You don’t have to leave your house to have some end of summer fun with the kids. Put the devices away and have a good ole’ fashioned family game night!
Eat ice cream for dinner. Want to win some parent points with your kids? Let them have ice cream for dinner! You’ll be the best mom (or dad) ever!
Go to a concert in the park. Support local artists and take in a concert at your local park. Pack a picnic dinner and sit under the stars while listening to music.
Spend the day at the beach. If you are lucky enough to be close to the beach, pack the beach toys and towels and enjoy a day at the beach. If you aren’t close enough to the beach, visit a local lake or waterhole.
