VTech‘s Go! Go! Smart Wheels Car Wash Playset is an adorable and colorful car wash for kids ages 1 to 5 to bring the included red car through for a scrub. Kids start in the tune-up center, beside the bright red tune-up center sign. From there, it’s up the ramp and onto the moving platform. Kids can turn the crank to spin the yellow bubbles, as the car makes soapy sounds. Kids can then slide the slider along to the spinning dryer curtain, and slide the car down the ramp.
I like the SmartPoint location feature on the sliding platform, because it prompts the car to make the appropriate sound effects for its location in the car wash. When kids press the light-up front windshield, the car plays car sounds, songs, and phrases. Moms will appreciate the on/off switch, for quieter play.
I like play sets that feature details and encourage extended play, and this play set does just that. It is compatible with other Go! Go! Smart Wheels sets, which connect to create large, extended Smart Wheels worlds.
