Boys Toys Megabloks Krusty KrabBy this time, we all know that SpongeBob lives in a pineapple under the sea and Plankton’s only mission in life is to steal the secret formula of the mouthwatering Krabby Patty. Mega Bloks has a pretty extensive line of Spongebob Squarepants construction toys, and my favorite is probably the Krusty Krab Attack set. Now, kids can bring this story to life wreak havoc as they try to save the precious formula.

Made for kids ages 5 and up, this 407-piece construction set is sure to keep kids occupied while they’re building it. It’ll also give them tons of playtime after. Plankton is at it again, and is out to steal the Krabby Patty recipe for his restaurant, the Chum Bucket (the food is as good as the name of the place sounds, hence why Plankton is so desperate for new food). Kids can build the famous establishment as the characters come together to the rescue to defeat Plankton.

The set comes with the buildable Krusty Krab, a dish launcher, a manual patty launcher, and a collapsing sign, buildable robots, and character micro action figures, including SpongeBob, Plankton, Mr. Krabs, and Squidward. Spongebob is even wearing his biggest googly eyes, which is only natural since his favorite place to be is working at the Krusty Krab. Although kids may need to ask mom or dad for some help putting some pieces together, the instructions are clear and helpful for them to understand.

One of the best parts about this set is all of its movable parts: The doors of the Krusty Krab open up to expose the whole inside for interior play; the grill is a hidden launcher to send plates and patties flying toward Plankton and his robot minions; and the Krusty Krab sign can be knocked down to stop the villain in his tracks. Plus, kids can combine this set with other Mega Bloks SpongeBob Squarepants playsets to build an entire world of fun in Bikini Bottom.
